A Channel 4 programme has recently aired called "What the Green Movement Got Wrong" that touches upon issues highlighted in the same era of the original BBCtv's DOOMWATCH - 1970-1972 which is around the time Greenpeace was formed and the environmentalist movement really took off. It has been reviewed by The Guardian online here. Well worth a look if you find a repeat of it on the television. You can watch a copy of it on 4OD right here The programme features the fascinating controversial opinions of Mark Lynas where he highlights the classic issue of negativity towards Nuclear Power Stations being misguided and the positive benefits of DDT. An article called "What the Green Movement Got Wrong: A turncoat explains" is here and another by Mark is available here
