IN PRAISE OF DOOMWATCH - A CLASSIC LETTER FROM THE RADIO TIMES 25 April - 1st May 1970

In praise of ‘Doomwatch’
Bravo the Doomwatch team (BBC1)! We only hope that the public realise that
many of the situations portrayed really have, really do, and really will happen.
And at last the scientist is shown in a better light—as an intelligent, hardworking, understanding, broad-minded, sociable, and, above all, honest, humane person. Diametrically opposite to the administrator.
So, please, can we have a follow-up series—or a repeat of this one in the
autumn? A 'science-fact' story is far more interesting than most SF!

As producer Terence Dudley mentioned in a footnote to a letter in last week's issue, the're is to be an other Doomwatch series.
